Marshall County traffic stop sends one woman to jail on drug charges

A traffic stop in Marshall County, last week, sent a Benton woman to jail on drug charges.

During a traffic stop on Friday, Marshall County Sheriff's deputies arrested 41-year-old Amy Stice of Benton. Deputies stopped Stice for several traffic violations and allegedly located drugs in her vehicle. She was charged with possession of meth and marijuana along with no insurance.

Stice was taken to the Marshall County Detention Center. There, more methamphetamine was reportedly found on her, meaning Stice will also face a promoting contraband charge.
