Marshall County marks five years since shooting

Marshall County Schools marked five years since a school shooting claimed two lives and injured many more.

At Marshall County High School, a wreath was laid in the commons area to honor the memory of Bailey Holt and Preston Cope, who were both 15 at the time. The school also observed a moment of silence in remembrance of them and all whose lives were changed that day in 2018.

According to Marshall County Schools, today is the beginning of Kindness Week at the high school. The school hosted its annual Marshall Strong Blood Drive to begin the week's activities.
