Marion woman charged after single-vehicle crash Saturday in Marshall County

A Marion woman was charged after a single-vehicle crash in Marshall County on Saturday. 

The crash happened along US 641 North when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Cameron Howard of Marion ran off the road and hit a culvert. Howard's vehicle then flipped over and hit a natural gas meter. When Marshall County Sheriff's deputies arrived they reportedly found an open alcohol container in the vehicle. 

Howard was charged with driving under the influence and possession of an open alcohol container in a vehicle. She was taken to Marshall County Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
