Hardin man found dead in Kentucky Lake near Aurora

A Hardin man was found floating face down in Kentucky Lake on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Marshall County Rescue Squad, 41-year-old Paul Dunn of Hardin was located just before 1 p.m. near the water's edge by boaters who then called 911. Those witnesses told authorities they had seen him near the water earlier in the day.

Dunn was pronounced dead at the scene by Marshall County Coroner Kenny Pratt. Pratt told West Kentucky Star that Dunn's body would be taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Madisonville for an autopsy.
