Murray State University's Board of Regents will have a special called meeting on Friday morning,
According to an advance agenda from the school, the meeting will include awarding a contract to Dr. Paul Twigg to become the school's new provost and vice president of academic affairs.
The Board will also vote on announcing the creation of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, along with voting on changing the name of the Hutson School of Agriculture to the Hutson College of Agriculture.
The Athletic Committee will also recommend contract extensions for men's basketball coach Ryan Miller and women's basketball coach Rechelle Turner.
The meeting begins at 10 am at Wells Hall.
