Lyon County man racks up new charges after search

A visit by authorities and officers with Kentucky Probation and Parole to a home in Lyon County ended in new charges.

Kentucky Probation and Parole requested Lyon County deputies to assist with a home visit on Poplar Creek Road.

The occupant, 42-year-old Joseph M. Gillaspie, was reportedly found to have meth and a firearm.

He was charged with possession of meth, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was taken to the Crittenden County jail.
