Lyon County man arrested on traffic, drug charges

An Eddyville man was arrested on a multitude of charges Sunday night on US 62 in Calvert City. 

Calvert City police say 40-year-old Hushton Remington Burton was pulled over after being observed with dark/tinted tail lamps and blue tinted lights on th front of the vehicle.  

Police said Burton was not wearing his seat belt and did not have his operator's license.  A search of the vehicle also located marijuana and alcohol. 

Charges against Burton include failure to wear a seat belt, possession of marijuana, and posession of an opern alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
