A Lyon County deputy stopped to help people in a car with two flat tires and found out that they were both fugitives.

The deputy was called to the vehicle after it stopped along KY 93 on Tuesday. The driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Torriun Ar-Dwayne Young of Atlanta, reportedly had his license revoked for failing to appear in court. He was also reportedly found to be a fugitive from a domestic violence-related case out of Hardin County. The deputy, with assistance from Eddyville Police, is said to have also found him in possession of marijuana.

Young’s passenger, identified as 38-year-old Javonna Montayzhia Looney of Kansas City, Missouri, was also determined to be a fugitive. Her charges are from a case in Missouri.

Young was arrested and charged with the Hardin County assault warrant, operating on a revoked or suspended license, and marijuana possession. Looney was booked as a fugitive from another state.

Both were taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
