Lyon County Sheriff's Office receives donation for equipment

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office received a donation recently for new equipment.

The sheriff's office said Marathon Petroleum donated $3,556 through their First Responder Grant Program.

Officials said the donation would be used for communication equipment.

Representatives from Marathon's Asphalt-Kuttawa terminal presented members of the sheriff's office with a check on Monday.
