The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce a "new" member of its fleet: a 2008 Ford Mustang.
The vehicle was awarded to the Sheriff’s Office following its seizure during a drug investigation. Also, funds obtained from investigations were used to outfit and update the Mustang, so no tax dollars were used.
The Mustang has been outfitted with logos and colors of Livingston County High School, and it will become part of the School Resource Officer program at the high school.
The Sheriff’s Office extends its heartfelt thanks to the many individuals and local businesses for their time and resources to help restore the vehicle for the new chapter in its automotive life.
More details about the restoration efforts are posted at the Livingston County Sheriff Facebook page .
