Kuttawa man charged with criminal abuse in Livingston County

A Kuttawa man is in jail charged with criminal abuse of a child.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office opened an investigation into the claims of abuse after receiving information from child protective services on November 13th. Deputies said the state agency alleged that 32-year-old Tommy Fulkerson of Kuttawa had committed the abuse. An arrest warrant was issued for Fulkerson two days into that investigation.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office arrested Fulkerson in Kuttawa and he was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail. He is being held there on a $10,000 cash bond.

No other details of the case have been released as the investigation continues.
