Kentucky State Police honor fallen trooper Ponder on anniversary of his death

The Kentucky State Police honored the memory and sacrifice of one of their own, Wednesday, in a ceremony at Post 1.

The memorial service honored Trooper Cameron Ponder on the anniversary of his death. The event took place Wednesday morning at 9:54 a.m. Ponder's family joined KSP at Post 1 off US 45 in Hickory. 

Trooper Ponder was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop on September 13th, 2015 along I-24 in Lyon County.
