Kenlake Foods in Murray will soon be expanding its manufacturing operation in Calloway County.
According to a release from the governor’s office, the additional $24 million investment will create 15 jobs and include the installation of new processing equipment for dry roasting and packaging various nut lines.
The Murray plant is a subsidiary of the Kroger Co. It was one of the first Kroger manufacturing plants located across the United States and currently employs more than 340 Kentuckians.
Kenlake Foods has provided snack, baking and produce nuts to all Kroger divisions since 1982.
The company also manufactures puddings, gelatins, drink mixes, instant oatmeal and oats.
