Lyon County Judge Executive Wade White said Tuesday that Christmas for the Kids is still on.

He said over $30,000 has been given thus far, with more to come to provide Christmas for kids impacted by the tornado in Lyon, Caldwell, and Hopkins Counties.

Macedonia Baptist Church joined forces with Faith Baptist Church of Bowman, Georgia, to provide Christmas gifts.

If you live in Lyon, Caldwell or Hopkins Counties, have been affected by the tornado and would like to receive Christmas gifts for your child, you can have your family's name added to the list by calling Lyon County Finance Officer Krista Grigg at 270-625-6672 or email kristagrigg@gmail.com. The deadline is December 18 by noon.

Christmas gifts are available to those 17 and under and will be available for pickup or delivery on December 23.

Those registering by email need to provide the following information:

Name
Place of residence at this time
Telephone number
Name, age, gender of children
Whether you will be able to pick up or need gifts delivered.
