Teen taken to out-of-state hospital after Beltline motorcycle accident

Paducah Police continue to investigate into a Tuesday afternoon motorcycle accident on the Beltline overpass.

Investigators said a 16-year-old male juvenile was operating the motorcycle when he failed to negotiate the curve and hit the curb.

He was first treated at a local hospital and then was transported to an out-of-state hospital.

Police blocked the Beltline at both ends for about three hours to deal with the accident.
