A Livingston County man was arrested Wednesday after a joint investigation by the McCracken County and Livingston County Sheriff's Offices.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, detectives were contacted by the Livingston County Sheriff's Office regarding 38-year-old Patrick Bowland who was wanted on a felony warrant for flagrant nonsupport.
Information indicated Bowland could be at a McCracken County home.
Just after 2:00 pm, McCracken detectives saw Bowland arrive at a home in the 400 block of South Friendship Road, and he was taken into custody without incident on the Livingston warrant.
A search of Bowland's person allegedly revealed a methamphetamine smoking pipe in his pants pocket, and a search of his motorcycle and belongings allegedly found additional crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, a sum of cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales, and a loaded handgun.
Being a convicted felon, Bowland is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.
At the time of his arrest, he was also on felony parole stemming from a previous firearm enhanced methamphetamine trafficking conviction.
Bowland was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
