Closure along KY 998/Olivet Church Road to relocate pipeline utilities set for Monday and Tuesday

A contractor for Paducah Water plans to temporarily close a section of KY 998/Olivet Church Road on Monday and Tuesday to relocate pipeline utilities. 

The closure will be just south of its intersection with KY 1286/North Friendship Road, or about mile point 1.7.

Road closed signs will be posted at multiple locations on Olivet Church and New Holt roads.

Motorists turning from KY 1286/North Friendship Road onto KY 998/Olivet Church Road will see signs letting them know it's a right-turn-only intersection.

Paducah Water is working with businesses and residents affected by the closure. 

During the two-day closure, motorists turning onto KY 998/Olivet Church Road from U.S. 62 will have no access to U.S 60, and motorists turning onto KY 998/Olivet Church Road from U.S. 60 will have no access to U.S 62.
