A man previously charged after an investigation into shady business practices in Paducah has been arrested on new charges.
Jacob Jetton, previously the owner of a pet cremation business, was arrested in early May after complaints of a foul smell coming from his vehicle reportedly uncovered evidence he wasn't actually cremating pets for customers.
Authorities said on Thursday, the continued probe into his business practices uncovered that Jetton was fraudulently charging customers additional unauthorized fees on their credit cards.
In addition, he allegedly sold a guitar to a customer of Jetton Music for $1,400, even though the guitar was off-brand and only valued at $300.
Jetton was arrested Thursday morning on charges of theft by deception and fraudulent use of a cred card over $1,000.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are likely.
Authorities ask anyone with information related to Jetton's business dealings to contact Deputy Lindsey Miller at 270-444-4719 or lmiller@mccrackencountyky.gov.
