Investigation lands Murray man in jail on drug charges

A traffic stop in June led to an investigation that ended Tuesday in drug charges for a Murray man.

Calloway County deputies issued an arrest warrant recently for 33-year-old Mitchell R. Saddoris, charging him with trafficking in meth and carfentanil.

Authorities said over 100 grams of meth and 82 Fentanyl pills were seized.

Saddoris was later arrested by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office on additional drug charges.

The sheriff's office said Saddoris has an extensive criminal history involving drugs, and is currently out on bond for felony drug-related cases in Daviess County.
