Indictment handed down against former Oak Grove payroll clerk

An indictment has been handed down in a case against the former payroll clerk for the city of Oak Grove.

The special Prosecutions Unit of the Kentucky Attorney General's Office presented the case against 38-year-old Hailey Bamford to the Christian County Grand Jury. Bamford was indicted on 15 felony charges including tampering with public records and abuse of public trust. She is accused of falsifying her time records in the city's accounting system from May 2022 through October 2023. 

Kentucky State Police led the investigation.
