I-24 Exit 3 work nearing completion

After a few months of various restrictions and lane configurations, the Interstate 24 Exit 3 interchange has reopened to normal traffic flow.

With the completion of diamond grinding on the new concrete surface, striping has taken place to mark the traffic lanes instead of the all-too familiar orange barrels.

Stop bars and turn arrows will be installed at intersections, along with some other minor finish work to be completed in the coming weeks.

The remaining work should create only minor and temporary traffic disruptions.
