Hopkinsville man dies after allegedly being shot by his brother

A Hopkinsville man died following a reported armed altercation with his brother.

The shooting Saturday night on Foxfield Road in Hopkinsville claimed the life of 46-year-old Joshua Wiley. Hopkinsville Police said that Wiley was shot multiple times in the altercation.

WKDZ reported that Wiley was transported to Jennie Stuart Health where he died. Police told them that it is possible the shooting was self-defense.

The investigation is continuing.
