A Hickory man was arrested in Metropolis on Friday after allegedly cutting off his ankle monitor.

Metropolis Police said Pre-Trial Services called them about 34-year-old Justin J. Todd of Hickory. They told them where GPS showed the monitor and police located it as it had been cut off. Officers then went to West 19th Street to the address of the victim in Todd's original case. Todd was located there and charged with Violation of Bail Bond.

Todd was taken to the Massac County Detention Center.
