Fire in Lone Oak damages several apartments

A fire on Saturday morning in Lone Oak damaged several apartments.

Lone Oak Fire was called out just before 11:30 a.m. Saturday to an apartment building on Fairview Drive. They were joined by Concord Fire and the two departments worked the scene for about an hour before calling for additional help from Hendron and the Reidland-Farley Fire Departments. Lone Oak Fire stayed on the scene for just over four hours.

In total, six apartments were significantly damaged, displacing the residents. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
