The Graves County Sheriff's Office and Graves County Schools received a donation of several patrol vehicles from a Florida sheriff's office on Tuesday.

Palm Beach County Sgt. and Trigg County native Tony Combs delivered four fully equipped patrol vehicles to Mayfield.

Two were donated to the sheriff's office and two were donated to the Graves County school system to be used by resource officers.

The donations came at the request of Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw after hearing that many of Graves County's patrol cars were destroyed in the storm.

This isn't the first time the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has offered Graves County assistance. The Graves County Sheriff's Office said just days after the December 10 tornado, Combs delivered trailer loads of supplies from Florida.

In a Facebook post, the Graves County Sheriff's Office thanked everyone for the continued support they've received.

"The support from law enforcement agencies from across the United States has been substantial. That support has ranged from supplies for our residents, monetary donations for our residents, manpower in patrolling our city and county for the safety and security of our residents, and more. To be a part of such a brotherhood and sisterhood of law enforcement officers makes us proud to have chosen this profession even during these turbulent times."
