Gas prices rise in the region this week

Gas prices in the region have spiked a bit this week.

Triple A's East Central Gas Report out Tuesday finds that prices in West Central Kentucky are up six cents this week, with the average price at $2.54 per gallon.

Paducah's average price is three cents higher than the regional average at $2.57 per gallon.  Nationally, the average price remains steady at $2.82 per gallon.
