Gas prices on the rise in the region

Gas prices in West Central Kentucky are seven cents higher this week.

Triple A's East Central Gas Price Report indicates prices on the average at $2.72 per gallon, up from $2.65 last week.

Paducah's average price is a cent higher than the regional average at $2.78 per gallon while the national average is at $3.12, which is five cents higher than last week.
