Gas prices in the region increase slightly

Gas prices in the region have made a slight increase in the past week.

Triple A's East Central Gas Report out Monday finds prices in West Central Kentucky are averaging $2.53 per gallon this week, up two cents from last week.

Paducah's average price this week is much higher than the region average at $2.65 per gallon. 

Nationally, this week's average is $2.90 per gallon, up three cents from a week ago.
