Local gas prices down 14 cents in past week

Gas prices in Western Central Kentucky have fallen by 14 cents in the past week.

Triple A's gas report indicates the average price of a gallon of gas is at $3.03 this week regionally.

Paducah's average price this week is $3.04 with some places as low as $2.87 on Monday.

Analysts say the drop may be short-lived as rising oil prices have not yet been fully factored in to retail gas prices.
