Gas prices fall in the region as crude oil prices also decline

A decline in crude oil prices also means a decline in the price of a gallom of gas in the region this week.

Triple A's East Central Gas report out Monday finds the average price for a gallon of regular gas in West Central Kentucky is $3.76 this week, down 16 cents from just a week ago.  However, Paducah's average price is seven cents higher than the region average at $3.83 per gallon.

The national average for a gallon of regular gas is down 14 cents this week to $4.16 per gallon.  Crude oil prices are below $100 per barrel.  The national average is 23 cents less than a month ago.
