Gas prices continue to fall heading into new year

Gas prices are continuing to drop heading into the new year.

Triple A's East Central Gas Report out Monday finds gas prices in West Central Kentucky are at an average of $2.38 per gallon this week, down four cents from last week.

Paducah's average price is ten cents lower than the regional average at $2.28 per gallon. 

In the past week, scattered locations in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado have sold gas at under $2 per gallon.

Nationally, prices are down three cents this week at $2.82 per gallon.
