A garbage truck crashed into a railroad bridge on Friday afternoon in Graves County.
According to the sheriff’s office, the accident happened around 1 p.m. on Johnnie Road.
The crash caused the bed of the garbage truck to detach from the chassis.
Officials said one person riding on the back of the truck was injured and taken to the hospital.
The road reopened a few hours later. Railroad crews will check the bridge and the condition of the track before they allow any trains through the area.
