A Fulton man was arrested recently in connection with a 2021 burglary in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office said that in May of 2021, a garage on Tucker Road had been entered by an unknown person and a Dodge Ram truck was taken.

The truck was recovered a short time later, and several items of evidence were collected, including possible DNA evidence.

Early this month, the Kentucky State Police Forensic Laboratory finished DNA testing on the items submitted by the sheriff’s office.

They were able to positively identify a suspect in the burglary and theft as 33-year-old Steve Davis.

Davis was found on September 13 in Paducah, and was arrested by McCracken County deputies.

He's charged with burglary, criminal mischief and receiving stolen property over $10,000.

He was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
