Crash in Mayfield sends two to the hospital

A crash in Mayfield sent two people to the hospital on Friday.

The crash happened on the Dick Castleman Bypass at Charles Drive. Mayfield Police said a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Dawn Barnett of Murray reportedly collided with two other vehicles that had slowed down to turn onto Charles Drive.

The other two vehicles were driven by 28-year-old Jessica Hurst of Mayfield and 54-year-old Rachel Jones of Arlington.

Jones was not injured in the crash; however, both Barnett and Hurst were taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.
