A Florida woman was arrested on several charges Saturday following a report of someone waving their hands at traffic on US 62 in Marshall County.
Calvert City Police and Kentucky State Park rangers made contact with 50-year-old Rachel Williams of Lakeworth, FL, and her boyfriend. While talking to the officers, Williams allegedly slapped her boyfriend in the face and she was immediately handcuffed. Police said she was under the influence of alcohol.
At the Marshall County Detention Center, Williams reportedly spit on the arresting officer and later allegedly slapped a female employee and started a fight in the booking area.
Williams was charged with disorderly conduct-second degree, assault-fourth degree (domestic violence), assault on a police or probation officer, and public intoxication.
