Florida man arrested on Lone Oak Road driving stolen South Carolina vehicle

A Florida man driving an SUV stolen from South Carolina was arrested on Lone Oak Road Wednesday.

Drug detectives from the McCracken County Sheriff's Office spotted the stolen SUV just after noon Wednesday as it was driving in the Lone Oak area. Sheriff's deputies and Paducah Police stopped the vehicle a short time later on Lone Oak Road at Berger Road. 

The driver, 34-year-old Stephen D. Carter of Orlando, Florida, allegedly stole the SUV at the Charleston, South Carolina airport terminal. Carter was arrested without incident and charged with receiving stolen property over $10,000.
