Five people were arrested on drug and other charges in four separate investigations in McCracken County on Monday.

Detectives conducted a traffic stop on Park Avenue, where the passenger of the vehicle, 33-year-old Lucas Scott of Paducah, had an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic violence. During a search, detectives also allegedly found a small amount of cocaine on Scott.

During a second traffic stop on North 24th Street, 27-year-old Kianta D. Vaughn of Paducah was allegedly in possession of two baggies of cocaine and money believed to be the proceeds of illegal drug sales. Vaughn was on felony probation at the time of his arrest for possessing a firearm by a convicted felon.

In a third traffic stop on Husbands Road, 23-year old Holly Hancock of McCracken County, was reportedly in possession of suspected Fentanyl pills.

Also Monday, detectives searched a home on Ted Williams Road in relation to a drug investigation. Authorities said 21-year-old Kelsey Roach and and 22-year-old Lauren Sanderson were arrested following the search.

Roach was allegedly in possession of a loaded handgun found in her waistband. The handgun had been reported stolen out of Texas in 2018.

During a search of the home and a vehicle, detectives reportedly found over 200 suspected Fentanyl pills, crystal meth, marijuana and money believed to be drug proceeds.
