Firearm found in vehicle at Livingston Central High School

A firearm was found in a vehicle at Livingston Central High School on Tuesday, according to a statement from the district.

A teacher reported the weapon to the administration and school resource officers took quick action. Officials said that there was cooperation among all involved. 

The statement stressed that Livingston Central High School was never in any danger and there was no threat.
