Fire destroys garage, damages McCracken home

A fire destroyed a garage and damaged a McCracken County home on Monday afternoon.

The Concord Fire Department was dispatched to the area of House Road where investigators stated the garage was a total loss. They said the majority of the residence was saved, with damage on the second story while the first story had little to no smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
