Final week to apply for FEMA assistance with May storm damage

Homeowners and renters in Caldwell, Calloway, Christian, Todd, Trigg and ten other Kentucky counties have just one week left to apply for federal disaster assistance if they were damaged by the Memorial Day weekend severe storms and landslides.

The deadline to apply is Monday, Sept. 23.

You can download the FEMA app to your phone, or you can call FEMA at 1-800-621-3362.

You can apply online at Disaster Assistance. com .

Or if you want to visit in person, the Muhlenberg County Disaster Recovery Center is still open in Central City from 10am til 7pm Monday through Saturday.
