An allegedly intentionally set February fire that resulted in several explosions has drawn an indictment for a Princeton man.

According to WPKY, a Caldwell County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Scott Agnew of Princeton, charging him with arson with the intent to destroy or damage a building for a fire he allegedly set at a home on Varmintrace Road. The fire took place on February 26th. The report said that Princeton Fire requested police for an altercation that took place at the scene as they fought the fire.

Officers arrested Agnew after reportedly determining that he was under the influence. Police said that Agnew told them "the government told him to start the fire."

Agnew was also charged with public intoxication. He remains in the Caldwell County Jail.
