Farmington man arrested following traffic stop and pursuit

A Farmington man was arrested Sunday night following a traffic stop and pursuit in Calloway County.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said around 11:00 pm deputies attempted to stop a vehicle operated by 28-year-old Gregory D. Jackson of Farmington on Howard Road when the vehicle fled. 

Jackson traveled at a high rate of speed and drove recklessly until it stopped a short time later.

Jackson was charged with fleeing or evading police and a number of traffic offenses and lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
