Drug roundup in Calloway County after series of indictments

A drug roundup is underway in Calloway County after a series of indictments have been handed down by a Grand Jury.

The Narcotics Division of the Calloway County Sheriff's Office took twenty trafficking cases before the Grand Jury and got the indictments. Deputies have been rounding up those accused over the last two weeks. The sheriff's office said that several of those with warrants have not been located and that the search is on for them. 

Ten have been picked up by deputies so far. They include 34-year-old Bradley Cathey, 35-year-old Krista Baker, 25-year-old Dakota Davenport, 39-year-old Thomas Terrell, 57-year-old Dawn Hall, and 37-year-old Samuel Wilson all of Murray. Also arrested were 32-year-old Kadeem Tyrell Willis and 59-year-old Tyra Ford both of New Concord, along with 45-year-old Stephanie Newell of Hopkinsville, and 30-year-old Heather Wilkins of Dexter.   

Cathey was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and being a persistent felony offender. 

Baker was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and another controlled substance. 

Davenport was charged with trafficking in carfentanil or fentanyl and being a persistent felony offender. 

Terrell was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and being a persistent felony offender.

Dawn Hall was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. 

Wilson was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, marijuana, and another controlled substance. He was also charged with multiple counts of possession of controlled substances and being a persistent felony offender.

Willis was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and being a persistent felony offender.  

Ford was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine. 

Newell was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and being a persistent felony offender. 

Wilkins was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and hallucinogens. 

All were taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
