Deputies trying to serve a warrant in Murray arrested a second man on drug charges.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies went to a home on Dupree Drive around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in an attempt to locate a wanted subject. Instead, a second individual was reportedly found in possession of three baggies containing methamphetamine. The total weight of the meth came in at about 3.5 grams.

Deputies arrested and charged 60-year-old Jerry W. Howard with trafficking in methamphetamine. Howard was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
