Pilot killed in Graves County crop duster crash

The pilot was killed when a crop duster airplane crashed Saturday afternoon in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said they were called at 3:30 pm about the airplane crash on Grover Hall Road near the Pilot Oak community. First responders found that the crop duster had crashed in a field and said the pilot, who is not from the immediate area, was killed in the crash. 

No other information will be released at this time.  

Authorities said Grove Hall Road, north of KY 2422 to Waggoner Bottom Road will be closed until further notice.

The crash scene has been secured until the arrival of Federal Aviation Adminstration investigators.
