Crittenden County lifted its burn ban over the weekend.

On Saturday, Judge-executive Perry Newcom announced that sufficient rains have fallen to rescind the ban which had been in place since Sept. 26.

According to the list on Kentucky's Energy and Environment Cabinet website, only Fulton and Hickman counties still have local burn bans in place.

All of Kentucky still has a statewide outdoor burning restriction until December 15. Burning within 150 feet of any woodland or bushland area is allowed only in the evening hours between 6 pm and 6 am.

The entire region is still experiencing extreme drought conditions, so officials urge care in burning around still dry vegetation and crops.
