Construction work is continuing on the new Crittenden County courthouse in Marion.
The Crittenden Press reported Thursday crews are preparing to install a cupola atop the building. The tower is designed to replicate an architectural feature of one of Crittenden County’s earlier courthouses.
The approximate $20 million facility, which is being paid for by the Kentucky Justice Cabinet, will house district, circuit and family courts and is expected to open in the spring of next year.
