I-24 Christian County crash claims two lives

A fiery crash in Christian County Wednesday night claimed the lives of two people.

Kentucky State Police told WKDZ that a westbound SUV ran into the back of another vehicle near the 78-mile marker and both burst into flames. Investigators said that the driver and passenger in the car were both killed. The cause of the crash and the identities of the victims have not been released. 

The westbound side of I-24 was blocked for hours while the crash was investigated and cleared.
