Charges piled up on a Murray man after contraband was found on him while he was being booked into jail.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies stopped Justin Wallman on Monday for a series of traffic offenses and reportedly determined that he was driving under the influence of an illegal substance. In addition to that charge, Wallman was determined to be speeding and driving recklessly. He also could not produce an insurance card.

Wallman was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Jail, where jailers reported that he did not readily follow orders and acted nervously. Following established procedure, a full search was done, and what was described as dangerous contraband was located inside Wallman’s clothes.

Jail investigators additionally charged Wallman with trafficking in meth and cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, and promoting contraband.
