Chances for severe storms return Thursday, Friday

Isolated to scattered showers and storms can be expected again this afternoon. Heat and humidity will then increase through mid week to summer-like levels. 

There is still a risk for severe weather Thursday afternoon and evening. Chances for strong storms will be even a little better Friday afternoon and evening.

The risk does not look any higher than it did 12-24 hours ago and there are several potential limiting factors. The main risk as it appears if severe weather develops would be damaging wind and hail.
